NAACP Mobilizes Hundreds for Rally in Support of Voting Rights Act
Hundreds of NAACP members and volunteers rallied outside of the Supreme Court to tell the court to “Keep the Act Together” on April 29th, to show their support for the Voting Rights Act, which protects voters against discriminatory voting changes. This report, "Discrimination and Mortgage Lending in America: A Summary of the Disparate Impact of Subprime Mortgage Lending on African Americans," provides an overview of the NAACP's groundbreaking lawsuit against 13 of the nation's largest mortgage lenders and the impact of predatory lending on African Americans throughout the nation."
