Ebonee Woods
National Youth Works Committee Region 4 Adult Representative

Ebonee Woods is a member of the Des Moines Branch, where she serves as the Branch Secretary, Co-Advisor for the Des Moines Youth Council and works as the Region IV Adult Representative to the National Youth Works Committee. Her passion for the NAACP Youth and College Division began when in high school she competed in the national ACT-SO program and helped organize the reinstatement of the Des Moines Youth Council Charter.
Ebonee has followed a career of public service previously working as a legislative assistant in the Iowa Senate, serving in former Missouri Governor Jeremiah "Jay" Nixon's administration, and at the State of Missouri's Department of Natural Resources. Currently, Ebonee is the Business & Community Partnerships Coordinator for the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART).
Ebonee attended Lincoln University, a Historically Black College/University in Jefferson City, MO. She graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Political Science and was a President's Coin recipient. Currently, she resides in Des Moines, Iowa, and is a proud aunt to Rosa, Malcolm, and Langston.
