James Brown IV is the Region 1 Youth Representative for the National Youth Works Committee. James has been serving the NAACP for over 2 years. He has worked closely with the NAACP Sacramento Youth Council and the NAACP California Hawaii Youth and College Division. He is currently a college student at Claremont McKenna College. He has a passion for inspiring and guiding his peers in whatever trials they face. For James, it feels great to help lift someone up when they need it and that's what he will contribute to the NAACP.
