A Vote for Democracy

Report an Incident
Countdown to Election Day —

Democracy is under attack. Let's save it.

This election season, we hold the most powerful tool to make democracy work for Black Americans: our vote. The issues that affect our community will make or break how we continue to thrive in this country. Together, let's amplify the voice of Black America to make sure solutions to our most pressing issues are equitable by voting.

With your help, we can save America's democracy.

The Election 2024 Toolkit

Black lives are on the ballot this fall. There are various issues impacting Black communities across the country, and we are diving into the five issues voters have told us are driving them to the polls, including economy, Project 2025, and protecting our rights and freedoms.

Voting After a Natural Disaster

In the event of a hurricane, state election authorities will typically provide storm-specific information on their websites, outlining steps voters can take if they are affected. Below is guidance for voters in the states of Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.

Each state and each impacted county within the state has specific procedures for voting.  You must contact your local election office for guidance.

The Fight Against Project 2025

Project 2025 is a policy proposal that seeks to undermine our progress, dismantle democracy, and take us back to a time when we did not have a vote or a voice. The overarching goal of the project is to "gut the administrative state from within," and is incredibly harmful to the Black community.
