Recently, videos and images were released of U.S. Border Patrol officers attacking Haitian refugees with whips. This violence is utterly cruel and reprehensible. For too long, the Haitian community has endured mistreatment at the hands of our nation. The administration must expand temporary protected status to those seeking refuge.
