BALTIMORE  — In partnership with the Baltimore City Health Department and Five Medicine, the NAACP will host a 2-day vaccination clinic for members of the community. NAACP will offer education and other resources to ensure community members are aware of the benefits of the vaccine. Interested participants can register for the vaccination clinic by visiting covax.baltimorecity.gov or by calling (443) 984 8650.

Five Medicine will be onsite to administer the Pfizer vaccine, which is FDA approved. This is a two-dose series, with the second dose at 21 days later, as directed by the manufacturer. The vaccination is of no charge to participants. Health professionals will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding the virus and vaccine.

Individuals will need to wear a face mask and plan to allow at least 15 minutes for observation after the vaccination. Please limit the number of individuals in your party that are not receiving the vaccine and wear clothing to allow easy access to the upper portion of the arm for the injection. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. Registration check-in will be available for you at the parking lot entrance of the building.
