The "Big Beautiful Budget" bill passed by Congress is anything but. Under it, social safety programs like healthcare, Medicaid, SNAP, and more are at risk of being cut. The safety of our people and our children are not partisan issues. They are as American as our democracy, the Constitution, and yes — even apple pie.
These fundamental values should never be bargaining chips as elected officials shape federal policies and agencies.
Now that Congress has spoken, it's time for voters to have a say. On November 3, 2026 the midterm elections are an opportunity to hold accountable the elected officials who created and supported this harmful bill.
