Ra’Vynn Waters

Ra'Vynn Waters is the first vice president of the NAACP New York State (NYS) Conference Youth and College Division. Ra'Vynn is also the representative for Region 2 on the NAACP's National Board of Directors. Ra'Vynn began her journey within the NAACP as a member of the Spring Valley Youth Council. She started as her course of leadership as the assistant secretary of the youth council and then moved on to the position of treasurer and on to become the President of the Youth Council for two consecutive terms. During this time, Ra'Vynn made her cross into leadership on the NYS Conference Youth and College Division Executive Committee. In 2014, she appointed as the fundraising chair for the NYS NAACP Youth & College Division. In the following year, Ra'Vynn was elected to the office position of first vice president. In which, she is now serving her second term as first vice president. In the Fall of 2017, Ra'Vynn began her studies for her Bachelor's Degree at Binghamton University. Upon arriving on campus, Ra'Vynn joined the university's NAACP chapter and was elected as their second vice president.

In her time of being a member of the NAACP, Ra'Vynn has received a few notable awards and honors including Spring Valley Branch President's Award, Miss New York State NAACP Youth & College, and a 2017 recipient of the Dr.Hazel N.Dukes Distinguished Leadership Award.
