Black communities are unfairly impacted by systemic inequality, exclusion, displacement, and far too many other issues that result from structural racism. When you make a substantial gift, you'll be making a huge difference for a community and the people who live there.
You Can Transform a community
NAACP supports Black communities in a variety of ways with boots on the ground in 2,200 units and branches across the country. Make a gift of $10,000 or more and we'll pair it with an appropriate community tackling local civil rights issues.
Supporting the front line
We fund a variety of different resources and solutions to build the capacity of our local units to sustain civil rights work. When you sponsor a community, you'll support will go directly to help solve local issues.
Training
Ongoing training keeps our activists equipped to handle whatever civil rights and social justice violations occur in their communities.
Legal redress
Representatives in each state have the ability to address civil rights issues within their local court systems.
Youth engagement
In each state, we engage youth in leadership development and advocacy through programs, youth councils, and college chapters.
