NAACP President and CEO, Derrick Johnson, Releases Statement on Passing of Pioneering Black Feminist bell hooks

The NAACP is saddened to learn of the passing of bell hooks, a trailblazing Black feminist who brought intersectionality and white supremacist patriarchy to the forefront of national dialogue. A humble woman of influence with over 30 books to her credit, her words and voice will live on through the powerful work she left behind to guide future generations.
