All Roads Lead to the South
Fighting Back for Voting Rights
Following the Supreme Court's Callais decision and escalating attacks on voting rights and fair representation across the South, the NAACP and more than 90 civil rights, voting rights, faith, labor, and community organizations are coming together to organize, mobilize, and build power for the road ahead.
NAACP leaders will be on the ground mobilizing demonstrators as we stand up for voting rights.
What to Expect
The day will begin with prayer and remembrance at the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, honoring the legacy of those who marched in 1965 and the generations who fought to expand democracy in America.
In the afternoon, organizations and communities will gather in Montgomery for a national rally and call to action rooted in the spirit and legacy of Freedom Summer.
