The 56th Image Awards Golf Invitational presented by Wells Fargo, A PGD Global Production, will be held at El Caballero Country Club. This extraordinary event celebrates diversity in the game of golf while gathering celebrities in entertainment and sports alongside corporate leaders and legendary honorees. The day will feature a breakfast with NAACP President & CEO, Derrick Johnson, a commemorative gifting experience, opening ceremonies, an elaborate clubhouse lounge with a closing awards dinner celebration.
THE GOLF CLUB
The 56th NAACP Image Awards Golf Tournament will be hosted at El Caballero Country Club, a beautiful private country club that immerses into the beauty of the California landscape. Designed in 1957 by renowned golf course architect William P. Bell, it was a time when the Civil Rights movement was in its infancy. While other clubs based membership on a person's religious belief, gender or race, El Caballero's only requirements were that the applicant be of good moral character and charitably inclined. This honorable tradition of inclusivity still defines El Caballero Country Club today.
THE NAACP ON-COURSE MUSEUM
In honor of Black Hollywood, the on-course museum will highlight the history of the NAACP Image Awards and some of the most celebrated awardees. Each tee box will feature a special moment commemorating the achievements of NAACP Image Awards honorees, presented by a special partner or sponsor. The 18-hole NAACP Nominee On-Course Museum journey will also be available online for guests to revisit at home and via a QR code on each museum display.
