Elder Edward DuBose

Chair, Armed Services & Veterans Affairs Committee, NAACP National Board Member

Elder Edward O. DuBose was born in Atlanta Georgia, the third oldest of ten children to Carnell and Margie DuBose. He received his early education through the Atlanta Public School system, graduating from Harper High School in June 1976. He joined the United States Army on March 21, 1977, where he would go on to complete 21 years of honorable service, retiring on March 21, 1998.

He has an Associate Degree in General Education, an Associate and Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration, and a Master's Degree in Counseling and Psychology.

In addition, Elder DuBose is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Anger Management Specialist, Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Clinically Certified Domestic Violence Counselor, and a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia and the American Counseling Association. He is also registered as a Neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and has received certificates in Civil as well as Family and Domestic Relations Mediation.

Vice Admiral Adam M. Robinson, Jr., MD, MBA, FACS, FASCRS, CPE

36th Surgeon General U.S. Navy VADM, MC (USN-Retired)

Vice Adm. (Retired) Robinson is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. He entered the naval service in 1977 and holds a Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, through the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program. Dr. Robinson completed a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery and earned a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.


He served as the 36th surgeon general of the Navy and chief of the Navy's Bureau of Medicine and Surgery from 2007 to 2011. As the Surgeon General, VADM Robinson served as the principal Tricare Health Plan representative for active-duty Sailors and Marines, their families, and Navy and Marine Corps retirees and their families, totaling over 2.5 million people. VADM Robinson led a team of 63,000 Navy Medicine personnel in over 220 health care facilities worldwide with an annual budget of $3.5 billion.

Upon retiring, VADM Robinson held several leadership roles in the Veterans Affairs Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Pacific Islands Health Care Systems. He retired after over fifty years of federal service in March 2025.

Robinson's personal decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal (two awards), Legion of Merit (two awards), Defense Meritorious Service Medal (two awards), Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and various service and campaign awards.

Dr. Tony C. Price Jr.

Senior Fellow, Center for Health Equity, NAACP

Tony serves as the Senior Fellow within the Center for Health Equity at the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, where he leads national initiatives aimed at eliminating health disparities and advancing health equity. In this role, Tony provides strategic leadership on key projects and leverages his expertise in chronic disease prevention, exercise, and physical activity to support healthier outcomes in historically underserved communities.

Prior to joining the NAACP, Tony was a Senior Research Associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center, where he served as the Technical Assistance Lead for projects supported by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy. There, he provided guidance to rural communities across the U.S. to enhance capacity and improve health outcomes through innovative, community-centered approaches.

Tony is passionate about collaboration and connection, often acting as a bridge between partners and resources to maximize impact. He currently serves as a member of the Georgia State University Alumni Association Board of Directors and as the Strategic Advisor - Mission Delivery and member on the national Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee for the Arthritis Foundation. He is also a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), committed to advancing accessible and inclusive health education.

Dr. Mark Fallick

Senior Medical Director, Radioligand Therapy, Novartis

Medical Director and Urologist passionate about improving patient care.

After years of clinical practice with a focus on men's health, I moved to my role as Director, Medical Science in Myovant's Medical Affairs Medical Strategy. Following that, I joined the Radioligand Therapy team as Senior Medical Director at Novartis. Using my clinical knowledge and experience, my role in Medical Affairs provides the perfect space to advance the treatment of men with prostate cancer.

As the Medical Lead/Medical Monitor of a Phase IV Prospective Observational Study (Registry), I moved the initial study concept into protocol development, selection of the Scientific Advisory Committee, informed consent development, site identification and activation, and patient enrollment. In addition, I authored a Trial in Progress abstract accepted for presentation, and collaborated with both internal colleagues and external organizations regarding a study diversity plan.

Other skills and experience in Medical Affairs include: Medical/Legal/Regulatory committee review of marketing material for medical appropriateness; Medical Strategy liaison to Field Medical, Real World Evidence, Advocacy, and Commercial teams; Publications planning, review, and abstract preparation; Medical Education grants scope definition and selection; Review of Investigator Initiated Studies and participation in RFP panels with external organizations such as NCCN; RWE/HEOR project strategy and publications; Advisory Board presentations.

Brian Bragg

Chief Mission Officer, ZERO Prostate Cancer

Brian Bragg is a dynamic and accomplished healthcare executive with more than two decades of leadership experience in public health, health promotion, and health systems integration. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing health equity,
improving population health outcomes, and driving systemic change across diverse communities.

Prior to joining ZERO Prostate Cancer, Brian served in senior leadership at one of the nation's largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) systems. There, he led transformative initiatives spanning primary care, behavioral health, and infectious disease — strategically aligning clinical services with community needs and focusing on reducing disparities in access and outcomes.

As Chief Mission Officer at ZERO, Brian oversees the development and execution of community-informed, equity-driven strategies aimed at increasing awareness and early detection, eliminating stigma and barriers to care, and improving the lives of those disproportionately impacted by prostate cancer. His visionary leadership is helping to shape a future where every person at risk for prostate cancer — regardless of race, background, or zip
code — has the opportunity to prevent, detect, and survive prostate cancer.
Brian has a B.A. from Denison University, and a M.S. from Northwestern University.

Dr. Chris Pernell

Director, Center for Health Equity, NAACP

Dr. Chris T. Pernell is a dynamic physician leader and social change agent. In her practice, she focuses on health justice, community-based advocacy, and population-wide health promotion and disease prevention. A celebrated visionary and apostle of public health, Dr. Chris serves as the Director of the NAACP Center for Health Equity. The Center is charged with driving equitable health outcomes and transforming healthcare systems while valuing the whole person.

Prior to joining the nation's oldest and most venerable civil rights organization, she launched The Esther Group, a public health consulting and health equity strategy firm. As founder of The Esther Group, she lives the mandate to dare a future where organizations, communities and systems can innovate for a better world and humanity.

Previously, she served as the first Chief Strategic Integration and Health Equity Officer at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, and led the 1199SEIU Labor Management Project Workplace and Community Health Program.

Dr. Pernell is a fellow and Regent-at-Large for the American College of Preventive Medicine.
