A Next-Level POST PRODUCTION Opportunity
The NAACP Creative Fellowship program, in partnership with Adobe, is a 14-week paid program designed to equip emerging post-production professionals with skills in video editing, motion graphics, sound design, and social media content creation. This next-level opportunity is open to individuals with some editing experience who are ready to launch their careers in post-production.

- Applicants must have 1-2 years of training or experience with editing as a non-union editor or assistant editor.
- Applicants must have basic proficiency with a professional non-linear editing tool (preferably Adobe Premiere Pro, but with accept Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, and Blackmagic Resolve); expect work rotation duties to be performed exclusively with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Applicants must be available to come to Los Angeles to participate in the kickoff week, September 14th - 18th, plus travel time. Travel expenses will be covered for non-local participants.
- Applicants must be available to work part-time for 14 weeks as an NAACP/Adobe Fellow from September 14, 2026 to December 18, 2026.

Damarcus Adisa - New York, NY
Damarcus Adisa is a digital content creator, storyteller, and strategist with a passion for visual media and community impact. Damarcus is originally from Tinton Falls, New Jersey but currently lives in New York, NY where he serves as Senior Video Producer at PEN America, where he leads digital storytelling efforts at the intersection of arts, advocacy, and free expression.

Andrea Vargas - Raleigh, NC
Andrea Vargas Moreno is the Co-CEO and Co-Founder of SutchiLee Productions, a brand media and management company launched in July 2020. A Colombian-American entrepreneur and filmmaker based in North Carolina, Andrea leverages her background in Fashion Marketing and Management to serve as Creative Director, Producer, Editor, Designer, and Marketing Specialist.

Tierra Thomas - Atlanta, GA
Tierra Thomas is the Founder & CEO of TNT Creations, a digital creator and social media strategist with a passion for helping brands connect with their audiences through engaging and authentic content. As a proud Gates Millennium Scholar and UCLA alum, Tierra brings a vibrant mix of creativity, storytelling, and expertise to every project

Kai - Chicago, IL
Kai, a 25 year old wizkid from Chicago, believes the best work lives at the intersection of spontaneity and structure. With a mind fixated on tech, he leverages technology to amplify his creative workflows. Kai is passionate about building platforms where bold ideas flourish and marginalized voices lead.

Bobbi Banks, Sound Design Mentor
Bobbi Banks is an award-winning sound editor with more than 140 credits. A trailblazer in post-production, she was the first African American and fourth woman to serve as President of the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE), and the first African American female sound editor, mix technician, AMPAS sound member, and Television Academy Sound Editor Governor. An active industry leader and mentor, she champions inclusion, education, and career development in entertainment.

Sandra Montiel, ACE, Storytelling Mentor
Sandra Montiel, ACE, is an award-winning editor whose projects span features, streaming and television. Her most recent work includes Andy Garcia's "Diamond" that premiered at Cannes in May 2026. She is known for her work on "About My Father" (Lionsgate), "The Valet" (Hulu), "Uncorked" (Netflix), "The Good Doctor" (ABC), "Brooklyn 99" (FOX). She earned an ACE Eddie Award nomination for Netflix's "Kate." Additionally, she completed projects for major studios, networks, and streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV+, CBS, Columbia Pictures, Lifetime Television, MTV, NBC, Sony and USA Network. Montiel is a member of the American Cinema Editors (ACE). She serves on the ACE Internship Committee to channel her passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of editors.

Marcus Myrick, Editing Mentor
Marcus Myrick is a seasoned director and editor with a dynamic background in animation and television. He is best known for his work on G.I. Joe: Renegades (2010), Princess Tenko and the Guardians of the Magic (1995), and Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters (2012).

Jonathan Winbush, Motion Graphics Mentor
Jonathan Winbush is a multi-award-winning motion graphics and immersive artist with 20 years of industry experience. His work spans films and shows, including Iron Man, Transformers, Lego Batman 2, My Little Pony, NFL on FOX, and Power Rangers. A leader in real‑time 3D, he speaks at global events and serves as a Dell Pro Ambassador and educator.

Christine Steele, Adobe Certified Trainer
Christine Steele is an Emmy and Telly award-winning director, producer, editor, and educator with over 20 years of experience in media communications. She has led creative teams across film, television, games, and digital media, working with top studios including Disney, Pixar, Paramount, DreamWorks, and PBS. A trusted Adobe Certified Instructor and workflow consultant, Christine empowers storytellers worldwide through training, mentorship, and speaking engagements at events like Adobe MAX, Sundance, and SXSW. Her work blends art and technology to create media that educates, inspires, and drives change.
