Eris T. Sims is a strategic and results-driven executive, currently serving as Chief of Staff for the NAACP, where she oversees the daily operations of the Office of the Board of Directors and the Executive Office. In this leadership role, she partners closely with the President and CEO to drive organizational strategy, manage high-impact initiatives, and navigate complex corporate challenges, ensuring the seamless execution of the NAACP's top priorities.

Beyond her executive leadership responsibilities, Eris plays a pivotal role in shaping the NAACP's programmatic and cultural influence, guiding the strategic direction of the Events Planning, ACT-SO, Community Partnerships, and Hollywood Bureau teams. As an executive producer of the NAACP Image Awards, she has been instrumental in elevating the organization's premier cultural event. She also spearheaded the transformation of the NAACP National Convention, curating impactful experiences that integrate mission-driven programming with meaningful corporate partnerships, fostering multi-generational engagement.

Prior to her tenure at the NAACP, Eris served as Executive Director of The Links, Incorporated and The Links Foundation, Incorporated, where she led strategic planning, fundraising, membership services, and daily operations for one of the nation's most prominent volunteer service organizations.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Eris has built a distinguished career in corporate event production and strategic operations, holding key roles at Hyatt Regency Atlanta and Maritz Travel Company. Her work has earned her numerous industry accolades, including Connect Magazine's 40 Under 40, National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners' Meeting Planner of the Year, and the NAACP's Medgar Wiley Evers Award of Excellence for leadership.

A graduate of Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, Eris is deeply committed to advancing equity and inclusion. She serves on the Pinterest Inclusion Advisory Council, Sephora Equity Partners, and is a proud member of Chief and The Links, Incorporated.
