Jenaya Moore
National Youth Works Committee, Region 7 Adult Representative

Jenaya Moore is a third-year law student at the University of the District of Columbia, David A. Clarke School of Law, graduating in May 2026. She serves as the National Adult Representative for Region 7 (Maryland, D.C., and Virginia) on the NAACP National Youth Work Committee. She is also a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Jenaya's advocacy and leadership began in the Youth and College Division at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), where she played a prominent role in the Richmond community and within her chapter. She went on to serve as Co-Advisor for the Virginia NAACP State Youth and College Division, working to strengthen collaboration between youth and adult members, promote intergenerational mentorship, and empower young leaders to become effective advocates.
Beyond the NAACP, Jenaya applies her advocacy and leadership skills in her legal work, focusing on bridging the gap between communities and access to economic development. Her interests include consumer protection, closing the wealth gap, and educating underserved communities on the importance of property law, trusts and estates, and long-term financial protections.
