Keturah Butler-Reed is the National Training and Campaign Manager for the NAACP Youth & College Division, where she equips young people with the tools to lead, organize, and create lasting change. A community organizer, writer, and womanist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, raised in Atlanta, Georgia, she has spent nearly a decade leading grassroots campaigns, statewide convenings, and voter mobilization efforts across the South.

While earning her Bachelor of Arts in English at Albany State University, Keturah served as the NAACP Chapter's Criminal Justice Chair, President, and Georgia Youth & College Education Chair, launching her path as a youth leader and advocate. Since then, her work has spanned environmental justice in frontline communities, such as Cancer Alley, advancing disability rights and accessibility in political spaces, and building cross-sector coalitions to strengthen democracy. She has also engaged globally, studying sustainable development in Senegal, legal systems in Spain and Italy, and foreign policy in the Middle East.

Keturah has served as the State Co-Convener of the Louisiana Black Women's Roundtable, where she has elevated the voices of Black women and disabled communities, shaped civic engagement strategies, and brought grassroots concerns to national policymakers. She staffed Queen Mother Delois Blakely at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, where she managed strategic operations, cultivated partnerships, and represented the New Futures Foundation in global advocacy and community engagement.

She is featured in Essence magazine's "Answering the Call: 15 Black Women Leading the Fight for Voting Rights Protection" and recognized by the Global Black Economic Forum and Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law through their "Ojo Asé: Black Women Answering the Call" campaign, spotlighting changemakers safeguarding democracy. Her leadership has also been recognized with two Congressional Awards, including the Network 2022 Honoree and the Louisiana and Mississippi Network Coalition Distinguished Leadership Award in 2023, for her outreach with Black Voters Matter.
