Addison Raven

Raven Addison is the daughter of Katrina and Robert Addison and she has accomplished astonishing achievements within her community and is still extremely active while being a full time student athlete . Raven is from St. Louis Missouri and served in the Region 4 NAACP youth and college chapter for over 10 years. Addison has completed her first and second year of college at King University with a 3.5 GPA making the deans list on both semesters.Addison is majoring in exercise science kinesiology to soon become a licensed physical therapist. Raven has earned the highest overall grade in her Anatomy class and Junior literature and writing class. Raven is also on a full scholarship for the women's basketball program and has appeared on national television over 6 times. She even earned a college career high of making 4 three pointers in the first half in her freshman year and season high of 4 steals her junior year. Addison adapted to becoming a Division 2 college athlete very well with her dedication towards both education and her passion for basketball. Miss Addison also served on the national youth works committee for the NAACP for 2 years and now on the national board of directors for the NAACP. 

She is also the youngest member to ever join the national youth works committee as she joined in 2022 at the age of 17.Along with Addison adding accolades towards her college career she also has a vast history of being a leader. In high school Addison appeared on PBS to speak with a group of other likeminded students to discuss the topic of politic economics.  To add on Addison finished high school at Lutheran north with a record of the most community service hours in 1 school year ending with over 700 hours. However, being a leader started at a young age for Raven Addison. Addison set a record for St. Louis county and the entire state of Missouri at the bright age of 7 with her Girl Scout group for the April shower's program for giving away the most personal goods with 1.4 million goods in total. This ginormous award made it into the Guinness of World Record Book representing the entire state of Missouri. A year later Addison started the first black history program at Kratz elementary to last the entire month of February by reading a black history fact over the intercom every morning for the early announcement. In conclusion, Addison is a young black leader that will continue to work for her community and inspire other youth throughout the world
