WASHINGTON — The NAACP is hosting a virtual career fair on Wednesday, October 15 at 12:00pm – 4:00 pm ET. Register here.

Powered by TalentAlly, the Virtual Career fair offers job positions and resources to displaced workers. Thousands of Americans continue to feel the devastating effects of recent private sector and federal government layoffs — including an estimated 300,000+ Black women who have lost their jobs. On top of that, the Trump Administration is expected to lay off additional federal workers in the wake of the government shutdown.

The NAACP Virtual Career Fair is designed to connect job seekers from all backgrounds with inclusive employers committed to building diverse and equitable workplaces.

The virtual career fair is set to provide direct access to recruiters across multiple industries, including sales, marketing, business, government, and healthcare. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in 1:1 conversations with hiring employers, helping them stand out in an increasingly competitive job market. The virtual platform removes geographic barriers, empowering job seekers nationwide to rebuild their careers and reclaim their futures.

"Black women have long been the backbone of the non-profit and federal workforce," said Keisha Bross, NAACP Director for Opportunity, Race and Justice"When they are disproportionately impacted by cuts and layoffs, entire communities feel that loss. This career fair is about more than just finding a new job — it's about restoring stability, dignity, and opportunity for those who have given so much."

The NAACP has, and will continue, to advocate on behalf of our nation's labor force. For those impacted by layoffs — or anyone seeking to advance their career — this event offers not just employment opportunities, but a space of support and hope for the future.

Visit naacp.org to register today and learn more about the ways to prepare for the career fair.
