Emergency Briefing | Louisiana v. Callais: What It Means & What We Do Next

A Voting Rights Crisis

The Supreme Court's ruling in Louisiana v. Callais is a license to silence Black voters and rig the voting system. This is a devastating blow to our democracy and decades of work to ensure equal citizenship for Black people and all people of color. But we will fight back.

The NAACP has been fighting this battle for decades. We are not stopping now. We are convening an emergency briefing to ensure our members, partners, and supporters understand the impact of this decision and have the information and tools they need to respond.
