Advancing Health Justice for Black Communities

Equity in Action: NAACP Health Summit is a powerful half-day gathering centered around the current state of health equity and elevate emerging and best practices to drive solutions for our communities in light of our collective strengths, vast health disparities, and the current structural forces at play.

Come learn what we're hearing from communities across the nation about what's important to their health and well-being, collected through the ACE Your Health Survey! We've assembled thought leaders, community practitioners, and NAACP activists in a half-day of building and learning as the political determinants of health rapidly shift the health policy landscape.

Join us to hear from:

  • Dr. Chris Pernell, Director, Center for Health Equity, NAACP
  • Dr. Roger A. Mitchell, Jr. MD, President of Howard University Hospital and President-Elect of the National Medical Association
  • Chiquita Brooks-LaSure, former Administrator, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
