We the People Town Halls

There's Power in Numbers

As we get closer to Election Day, it's more important than ever that we come together in preparation to vote by November 3. Join us in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on October 26, or in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 29, as we continue meaningful conversations about community priorities and the future of our democracy.

Each town hall will include a fireside chat featuring NAACP President Derrick Johnson and Vice President Kamala D. Harris that explores the challenges and opportunities facing communities, discusses the importance of community leadership, and highlights ways to remain engaged in the democratic process.

What to Expect

• Community Voices: Hear lived experiences and perspectives from community members in Milwaukee and Atlanta.
• Policy Meets People: Explore how national policy decisions connect to the everyday realities of local families.
• Meaningful Dialogue: Join a substantive conversation with President Johnson and Vice President Kamala D. Harris on community challenges, priorities, and opportunities.
• Civic Engagement Resources: Access nonpartisan voter education resources and practical next steps ahead of the November elections.

Building on our nationwide efforts to expand voter education and protect voting rights, these townhalls will create space for local voices to be heard and connect national policy decisions to the everyday experiences of families and communities.
