Saving Democracy One Voter at a Time

You and the voters you mobilize are particularly crucial to making Black voices heard at the ballot box. With affordable housing, inflation, and racism at the top of minds of voters, too much is at stake. Getting voters to the polls is important now more than ever.

Making volunteering convenient for you

Whether you have a few minutes or a few hours, our program allows volunteers to dedicate as much time as they wish to turn out Black voters – making our volunteers a priority. In addition to working with your schedule, we will provide:

  • Talking points to motivate voters
  • Call center to refer voters to (or to call if they have questions)
  • Tools that make it easy to text your community

2024 BLACK BATTLEGROUND STATES AND DISTRICTS

updated battleground states and congressional districts - NAACP 2024

Our battleground states and districts are where we can make a difference in monumental elections. Even if you don't reside in a battleground state, your contributions as a volunteer will have an impact by calling or texting voters in these designated states and districts.

What is a Captain?

All volunteers receive lists of less frequent voters OR lists of other volunteers. Volunteer 'captains' are those volunteers receiving lists of other volunteers. Captains are selected randomly.

The Fight Against Project 2025

Project 2025 is a policy proposal that seeks to undermine our progress, dismantle democracy, and take us back to a time when we did not have a vote or a voice. The overarching goal of the project is to "gut the administrative state from within," and is incredibly harmful to the Black community.

Learn more about how we plan to fight against Project 2025.

The fundamental right to vote continues to be under attack, creating a threat to democracy as we know it. Efforts to make it harder for racial minorities to participate in the political process are proliferating across the country - and we're fighting those efforts in court.

From now until election season, we need your help to turnout as many voters as possible. Sign up to power the vote and contact voters within your community.
